Float
Float (or annealed float glass) is the most common method of manufacturing flat glass. It is the most economical option when choosing glass and is available in a variety of colours and thicknesses. When float breaks it will shatter into large, sharp pieces.
Clear Float Glass
As the name suggests, clear float is a colourless and transparent glass.
Grey Float Glass
Grey Float is designed to reduce the amount of glare and heat entry.
Dark Grey Float Glass
Dark Grey is a rich tint for greater control of the amount of glare and heat entry than standard grey.
Toughened
Toughened glass is created by heating standard float glass in a furnace to extreme temperatures and then rapidly cooling it. This process produces a super strong glass, that is up to 5 times stronger with greater heat resistance. When it breaks it will shatter into small, granular pieces.
Clear Toughened Glass
As the name suggests, clear toughened glass is a colourless and transparent glass.
Grey Toughened Glass
Grey Toughened glass is designed to reduce the amount of glare and heat entry.
Dark Grey Toughened Glass
Dark Grey Toughened is a rich tint for greater control of the amount of glare and heat entry than standard grey.
Laminate
Laminated Glass is a Grade A safety glass made by laminating two or more sheets of glass with a plastic based interlayer in between them. This type of glass helps protect carpets, curtains and furniture by blocking out 99% of UV light. They are effective in redusing noise and when it breaks it will remain intact in the opening.
Clear Laminated Glass
As the name suggests, clear laminated glass is a colourless and transparent glass.
Grey Laminated Glass
Grey Laminated Glass is designed to reduce the amount of glare and heat entry.
Obscure
Obscure glass provides increased levels of privacy and glare reduction. Obscure glass options are available for float, toughened and laminated glass.
White Satinlite
One of its surfaces covered in small, closely spaced grooves in the form of a cross hatched pattern. This glass offers some level of privacy.
Acid Etched Glass
Acid Etched glass is made by applying an acid wash to one surgace of the glass to produce a frosted finish.
White Translucent Laminate Glass
White Translucent laminated glass is manufactured by combining a translucent type interlayer bonded between two layers of glass. Offering a high degree of privacy. (Not suitible for Louvres)
